MLS is a diagnostic tool for schools and educators across New York, funded by the NYC DOE. It's an essential resource to assess the home-language literacy of newcomer students. With the increasing school collaborations and users, the demand for user support grew.
Since MLS involves a mix of online and offline logistics, it's important to keep things simple. I proposed and developed a help center from scratch, providing easy-to-follow onboarding and scenario-based support. This way, educators can find solutions quickly and focus on what matters most: supporting their students.
To ensure a sustainable future for education in the digital age, it is crucial to establish collaborative partnerships that encourage participation and reaffirm education as a common good.
Pedalinx is a platform that facilitates the coordination and monitoring of institutional pioneering educational projects. The platform includes a progress map that helps build a diverse team to develop innovative pedagogical projects in higher education. It also provides action-based tasks and technology-enabled resources for each stage of the project, supporting professional and design development.
AI is not a novel concept, the advent of AI chatbots like ChatGPT offers us an opportunity to reconsider the essence of humanity. Following initial discussions, we established the central theme of this exhibit as "Rethinking the Human-AI Relationship.”
This exhibit offers middle school students and teachers the chance to discuss their attitudes before and after engaging in dynamic activities with ChatGPT. It has been valuable to observe the diverse ways in which they interact with such tools.
